So i listened to this earlier, first half of the album is surprisingly dope and the second half is quite forgettable.
but why tf is he still talking about revival and how people hated it even though he thinks its good??

like i felt like it‘s alright to mention once or twice on kamikaze but come on, move on, revival was completely tragic

What's that?

I was just surprised that the music journalists were acting like it was a surprise that Em was dropping an album when this Forum has been talking about it for weeks. That's hardly what I would call "without warning." Most of the articles I saw also agreed that they were "blindsided" or "shocked" or "surprised" that this album "came out of nowhere." I can't believe that this Forum is the only place in the universe where people were talking about this, so I was surprised that so many people seemed to feel like it dropped out of space without warning.

Who knows - maybe that's part of his marketing campaign. I suppose it's better to talk less and then actually drop something than to hint endlessly about something and then wait 5 years to put it out like Wayne's people do.
