Thing is to be the "GREATEST" you have to be more than just a lyrical monster, Tech and Nas don't sell shit, have small fanbases (tech does anyway), release little material, aren't diverse AT all, aren't really unique at all either, can Nas freestyle? Or Tech, idk but not sure i've ever heard anything from them like that. They're not the greatest for those reasons and so many more. There's much more than just being lyrical to be the greatest and they've got the lyrics, but nothing else.

I listen to an artist because of the music, not because of the amount of albums he sells or how big of a fan base he has. I really don't think that should even be brought up.

I know what you mean about Tech releasing little material but that's only because he spends so much time on each project to make it perfect. He's releasing a mixtape this month and an album this year or next year by the way. So after all of that he'll have 4 albums and a mixtape. I guess 5 projects isn't a lot but it's good enough for me to call him one of the greatest.

Tech can freestyle, not sure about Nas though.
