While his A Man Named Scott-mixtape won't see the light of day, KiD CuDi appears to compensate his fans with a groundbreaking new album. The Cleveland emcee sent out the promise that his upcoming project will change the face of music. This announced game changer will serve as the first release of his newly formed rock band 2 Be Continuum with frequent collaborator Dot da Genius, which is titled Wizard, due December via his Wicked Awesome Records. Cudder tweeted:
“Ima need everyone to understand, when this Wizard album drops, the world of music is going to change, for the better. I promise. December!
Trust im working extra hard to make this shit as amazing as possible and get yall some new jams.
In addition, the How to Make It in America-actor revealed that he plans to release a new song called “High Off Life!” as celebration for his sober change of life. Furthermore, he shared the news that he also recording the follow-up to last year’s Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager.

Sad news has surfaced for Kid Cudi fans. At the beginning of this year, the G.O.O.D. Music artist took to his Twitter account to state that he would be releasing two projects in 2011: Wizard, which is his collaborative rock album with producer Dot Da Genius, and A Man Named Scott, which would serve as the follow-up to his 2008 debut mixtape. But unfortunately, it turns out Cudi has only been able to focus on the latter. Read the statement below from his Tumblr in which he lets fans know that A Man Named Scott has been cancelled, but Wizard will still be released sometime this year and work on the third installment of his Man On The Moon album series will ensue after that.

A Man Named Scott is scrapped everyone, I know its a bummer but ive just been too busy with this new album and thats where all my energy and focus is right now. I gotta work on what moves me creatively. After this im going straight to work on MOTM3 so dont trip. You’ll definately have the WIZARD album this year so no worries. Trust im working extra hard to make this shit as amazing as possible and get yall some new jams. Again, sorry for the late notice. I know youll understand, I hope you understand ha

    Cudi.

Hes not super famous, so I doubt he can change music, but he can make different music, look at Wayne, he is very famous and makes different music, but hasn't changed music.

I don't know.. I been following Cudi for a while since Day 1.
And lowkey Day N Nite and A Kid Named CuDi.. IMO changed the mixtape game.

Look at Flight School, So Far Gone, and VX.. all probably influenced by CuDi.

        ..can't forget MOTM..
CuDi keeps it real 24/7 not giving a fuck about critics. And he brought back the rapping/harmonizing delivery.

        He may change it.. lol

if not so far gone directly.
than definitely by his work on 808s and heartbreaks.
cudis creativity was all over that album.

and musically cudi is a lot farther along than wayne.
so who knows. maybe he can. but then i think wayne has changed rap.
and were just starting to see some of those changes now.

CuDi's dope. and idk about everybody here but most people on KTT Cudi sections didn't like PITW. i liked it a lot actually. a nice little drum/guitar jam

and i know this is a rock album but i think it will be a better fusion of hip hop with a rock sound.

also, i'm sure those tracks from AMNS will eventually turn up. at least, some of them.

MOTM 1 is in my top 5 favorite albums and AKNC is in my top 5 mixtapes.

Influenced Ye to make 808's. Forever respect for that.

he won't change music and his music aint even that good, i literally downloaded this dude's first album 7 times and i just couldn't get into that shit

i feel that you have to be induced in order to listen to his music and find it enjoyable, most of his songs are boring and i just hear him rambling about random stuff and his beats really arent that hot so that doesnt help listening to him.... he aint for me, but at least i've tried

i do respect him though for quitting smoking
