That is so far from being a fact though. I'm not trying to be a hater here, but the majority of people dislike "swag rappers" and don't take them seriously plus the 2 you mentioned (Soulja Boy and Lil B) both did horrible numbers on their last album. If anyone is taking over the rap game, it's people like Kendrick and Cole. If you like it that's totally cool but you can't go making threads with false claims and not expect people to disagree lol

exactly, what are they taking over if they get the worse sales in the game? Lol they're most likely not making the most from touring, probably get the least money for features, other rappers are probably getting more views on youtube so what the fuck are they taking over?

Oh and the funniest thing is, I forgot to mention Kreayshawn lol (but hey, she is doing horrible numb...wait what? lol)

Also, you can't understand that only few people buy Soulja's music when he drops like 10 mixtapes in a year? Or that Lil B himself posted a free download link only hours after he put it up for sale on iTunes. Or that Im Gay (as I mentioned before) is not even a Swag album?

If I was a Soulja Boy fan and he was dropping an album I would be saying "Damn, this dude has been giving out so much free music I really should support him the one time he wants me to pay for it."

If I was a Soulja Boy fan and he was dropping an album I would be saying "Damn, this dude has been giving out so much free music I really should support him the one time he wants me to pay for it."

Well, he didn't do any promo besides twitter. But did you never find youself adding someone somewhere you do not really care about for a longer period of time? So twitter/facebook is not really reliable. Also his album got pushed back for a few times. He doesn't give a fuck about sales anymore. He has enough money. That's why he is swagging.

Back to the topic: Even though everyone seems to hate Soulja Boy, he still stays relevant over years, same with Lil B. They only put out shitty music as you are all saying, but he still gets tons of download traffic and views on youtube. Same with Kreayshawn, Gucci Gucci is her only known song (well at least many know Bumpin Bumpin and a few know Rich Whores) but she is still buzzing as fuck. So that's why I'm assuming, that swag rap will be the new thing everyone will hop on in the near future. Hell even Wayne is trying hard to do so.
