Lol at you if you don't think that Nicki was one of the hottest people in hip-hop last year.

Red Cafe and French Montana have been gaining popularity, and 50 dropped that Big 10 shit which got him some buzz. I believe Common's only on the list due to the Drake beef.

50, Red Cafe, and T.I. can stay. They've all made some noise this year, though certainly not enough to be considered the hottest, though(except maybe T.I., he's been EVERYWHERE since he got out). But the rest of em can kick rocks and be replaced by Cole, K. Dot, and KRIT. Add Tyler(didn't MTV give him best new artist, or was it someone else) and Busta(he's been grindin' this year).

Honestly, I don't know why Nas is on this list.

this list is about 2011 though.....all them guys did was released ok mixtapes......

Yeah, I meant to say last year, and didn't feel like editing the post. But those three guys had people talking. Especially TI. Fresh outta jail dude murked everything. I don't care for Red Cafe, but I've been seeing a lot of him. And a lot of people were talking about that 50 crap.

This list is not about the best hip hop artist or who gives the best quality consistently....its the Top 25 HOTTEST emcees..and you can't name 5 names on that list that are hotter than Nicki Minaj in rap right now....


Only 6 artist left in rap go platinum in a year and she is one..Pink Friday went #1......she is nominated for a grammy award....Super Bass was voted by Entertainment Weekly and Billboard as song of the year plus it was a number one hit......she did the most magazine covers last year...and was number 10 in income.....plus she is a female in the rap game...out doing 95% of her male counterparts....she is also performing the only rapper scheduled to perform at the grammy


Choose 5 people on that list that has done as much as her in the past year...


just like 2 Chainz, I think he is wack but I can't deny he had been on fire this past year....

Nas and 50 are on that list only because of who they are and the fact that they did SOMETHING. But I don't think they deserve to be there.

Common isn't a name to bow down to, but he's on the list because he's still a big name that was beefing with Drake.
