I'm happy this site is pro-Gates. Album is incredible and I knew it would be mostly love songs and a lot of singing, typical Atlantic Records debut just look at Rolling Papers but Gates is unique in that even when aiming for a new audience he totally fucking kills it and delivers an amazing album.

Probably a bit of both, Atlantic probably 'softened' the content but Gates has had different things to rap about lately as well. His latest features/throwaways are a bit harder then the album content still
