I feel like when it dropped it was something fresh, not many rappers were as lyrical with Nas, nor could they tell stories like him. So at the time, the repetitive beats (not in a bad way) beats kind of forced you to listen to his words, which, don't get me wrong, are amazing, but can be appreciated more in 1994. When a lot of teenagers of today, like me, listenen to it, they find it boring. Lil B though...

I've never listened to the album either. I listened to the snippets on iTunes to see if it was within my tastes. I personally don't like listening to the older albums like that with the bad, not bad at the time, quality. From what I heard from the snippets it still wasn't for me.

People kill me with this music stuff though. Music is an art. Art may be the most broad subject in this world, can you really define what's "real?"
