I dont understand why people got so insulted when wayne said he doesn't like NY

because it's the birthplace of hip hop. because the city is so important to african american culture as well as multiple facets of hip hop culture. because it's considered the greatest city on earth. because so many rappers got their start in NY. because just maybe it's his own damn fault for keeping a pistol with him, not the NYPD's for catching him with it.
