Yeah as far as rapping he was prolly at his best around that time..he matured a lot as a rapper though..I dont know how to explain it, he's not a better rapper than he was back then but he's just more ....something lol

I also dislike Vol 3, BP2, and BP3, but I just dislike Vol 3 and KC the most. Can't really get into them besides a few songs.

imo snoopy track, watch me & come and get me are the only good songs on there

Key word is "almost." Drake was an underground, hungry MC with a lot of energy. I'm not saying the mixtape or even the songs deserve to be put in the same lane as some classic albums, but the rhyming and bars were crazy.
