looking at goin to this meek show in chicago on saturday however the age requirements is 17+. The friend i am going with is 17 & i am 16 but my birthday is a week after the show...what do you guys think, should i try my luck? Has anyone else ever been to a show underage? do they card everyone? im not tryn to drop $100.00 on tix to be turned away the night of...any thoughts?

Are you born on 1996? Coz if you are then you are considered 17 years old since its 2013 now and 2013-1996 = 17...

I think even if you are 16 they would let you in...they just say that so no kids like 8-13 get in and shit

I wouldn't risk it. Chances are they'll I.D. you before you get in.

Not every venue does that, but I don't think it's worth spending $100 unless you know you can get in for sure.

Shouldn't they allow you if you're with an 18+ year old at least? I called a local venue up when a Kendrick show was 16+ and they said they'd let four 15 year olds in.

I cant remember ever being IDed walking into a concert, and I go to alot of them (including Meek's).
