  • Headphones!

I'm a huge fan of music, especially Hip Hop (aren't we all, here?). I'm currently looking for some advice on what pair of headphones I should acquire. I want something that sounds great with Hip Hop (clear sound, good bass) but also that has some style so I'm not ashamed to wear them in public. Over-ear or On-Ear, doesn't really matter as long as it combines quality sound and decent style. Thanks (Nothing TOO expensive either eh.)

I'd like to thank the haters for your cooperation
I got that Doctor Chopper, give you an operation

Sure they look good but quality wise they're ridiculously overpriced..

Lbr, Dr. Dre beats are overrated as fuck.
You should buy some over-ear SONY headphones

Ignore the Dre Beats posts. Good marketing, but overproduced bass with weak mids and highs.

                  My picks:

For OEM: Amazon.com: Audio-Technica ATH-M50 Professional Studio Monitor Headphones with Coiled Cable: Musical Instruments

For IEM: Amazon.com: JVC HA-FX101B Inner-Ear Headphones (Black): Electronics

Real audiophile quality, not no teenage hip hop overproduced bass like Skullcandy and Dre's. Check out this site and read reviews from audiohpiles at HeadFi: Headphones - Head-Fi.org Community

Recommended brands: Shure, JVC, AKG, Audio-Technicia, Beyerdynamic & Sony

I can suggest more if you need but there are A LOT of headphones better and cheaper than Beats,so unless you have money to burn...don't buy Beats
