I just liked the production on it.

    • I spent so long telling people that this was better than Yeezus, that Jay's flow was insane and untouchable and I didn't stop bumping it for a good 8 months..

Now I look back on it and realise it really wasn't very good at all. Jay just raps about high art and uses expensive sounding names.. The production on it was insane, but it's actually the Jay album I am the most disappointed with, because he finally nailed down an entire album of insane beats, he hadn't done that since Black Album, and he just went so limp wristed on it, he was weak.

Funnily enough, every track he has rapped on SINCE MCHG has been incredible, his verses have outshone whoever he was rapping with, even Lamar on Bitch Don't Kill My Vibe..

      Weird.

IMHO Yeezus is better than MCHG

And you said you "realise it really wasn't very good at all" do you think Yeezus is better than MCHG?

I think MCHG is significantly more listenable and the production is a lot better, but yes Yeezus was better even though I despised it for so long. What kanye did took a lot of courage and some of the themes he explored were extremely important

Yeah, I agree with the highlighted, BUT Yeezus' production is dope too and it is listenable too, I think it's hard to compare because they are quite different, but personally I prefer Yeezus, I think MCHG is good too definitely.

Yeezus slays as a gym soundtrack

I thought bound 2, blood on the leaves were two of the best tracks of the year. I really adore his sample based production but can't get on board with the rest of it on yeezus.
