yeezus gets some weird hate to me, i think its his best album.

especially from... the standpoint of crafting an album.

its funny, i listened to late registration, and yeezus is kinda the exact opposite of that album.

in LR, you had these beautiful songs, that then get distorted towards the end, but its still p harmonious.

in yeezus, he magnifies the distortion by making it the main music of the song,
but the music still has its harmonies and melodies, cos at his core,

i dont think kanye can make 100 percent discordant music, tho on sight was def p close...

but the flip, at the end of these songs.. or in between like on sight.. or.. is it new slaves? blk sknnnheads? whichever one has that super beautiful sample come in at the end..

its kind of like on late registration, he hinted at having a battle inside himself, and yeezus is presenting that battle in full, but at the end.. he's still hoping for the best, most beautiful scenario..

honestly, w yeezus, and dedication 5.

kanye and wayne showed me how head and shoulders they are above everyone, artistically. really some generational talent in those two. its impressive.

I've been saying for ages, Kanye is head and shoulder ahead of everyone else in hip-hop because he gives you something coherent, and personal.

You can tell that the music is him laying his life out there for all to see; 808s in his heartbroken album, and it certainly feels that way, MBDTF is Kanye's response to all of his critics...and now Yeezus is Kanye's attempt at social commentary.

          Exactly!!!!

That's Exactly Why kanye Is Standing Tall At number 4 All-time on my list (all-time favorite) minus Yeezus tho

hm for some reason, ive never read yeezus as social commentary,
i mean i get why someone would say that, but i think theres more~~ to it than that.

yeezus, to me, is more of an internal fight.. w some external pressures.. and w that, theres definitely some social commentary involved,

kanye has always been race conscious since college dropout, its apart of who he is, but hes also struggling to be great in fields, where hes being made to feel like hes not allowed( cos of his blackness, hence the social commentary)

and thats frustrating, and he responds to frustration w anger and action.

i have yeezus.. as the opposite of late registration, but also as a not so distant cousin to 808s.

yeezus isn't in the same bracket as pac's or nas' worst albums. don't get me wrong, hes got a solid couple albums, but as far as quantity the rest have just put out way more music. shit even wayne has more quality albums & mixtapes than kanye has albums.
