I say yes because of what Kendrick and the rest of TDE have done. They have brought back West Coast rap but it still sounds new at the same time. They don't try and sound like NWA they make they're own music. I don't think NY music can come back expecting to sound like it did in the 90's or 80's. NY is going to need a rapper an a really great rapper lol to bring it back and get others to copy his style. Nicki reps NY but she copies Wayne's style more than anyone lol so she is really helping when it comes to NY rap.
