De La Soul is one of the greatest hip-hop groups of all time with no exaggeration (and I know "greatest" is tossed around like hacky sack). They been rapping for 25 years and their biggest hits was in the 90s', but they're worth peeping.Originally posted by nyberg View Post
I admit, I'm a bit of a biased De La fan - I love De La Soul like Lil Wayne loves redbones. If you listen to their joints tho, you'll recognize how their style influence NUMEROUS rappers even to this day, from Kanye to Busta to even Drake. Peep "Stakes is High", "Me Myself & I", and "Ring Ring" as a start.
BTW, De La was featured in Gorillaz "Feel Good Inc."
