I think that was a great move by him to do that tbh. He first release a great mixtape and later a great album. Like 2 really good projects.
Thats when he had a buzz and then he goes kinda lowkey and do shows + couple features and being really quiet for ahwile. And now hes starting to make noise and confirms hes gonna drop his 2nd album.

He has a different style and I think people would get bored if he dropped a project every year. Also he had no reason to drop alot of music after his mixtape and album cuz he had made his name in the game and got big really qiuck.
It was the best thing to just relax and not hurry to drop even more music by then. Yeah I think he did a great move tbh cuz ppls gonna be hyped for this album now i think.
