i respect your opinion but what's the criteria of this list? rapper is a broad term. if it were purely based on lyricism here is my list

im a huge lil wayne fan and appreciate his longevity and success in the game but out of his catalogue, he has only a few notable albums. post carter 3 work was mediocre at best and his lyrics have been stagnant. hes a top 10 rapper because of his longevity, work ethic, and his body of work (mixtapes on mixtapes and albums). every rapper today follows lil wayne's blueprint to success. that alone makes him a top 10 in any category.

nas is the best of all time imo because his debut album illmatic is arguably the greatest rap album of all time. he ripped jay-z a new asshole and his lyrics are unparalleled.

out of the list tho, i love lupe the most. if his label didnt fuck him over on his last few albums, his content would have been much better. but as a conscious rapper, he has a mainstream appeal and sells records which is rare in the music world today.

kendrick isnt top 10 yet but if he continues with the way hes been going, he could be the best to ever do it.
