Okay, so the young gawd Euro from YMCMB (YM now) released his first tape this summer after getting signed to Young Money. With no other material out, this was his first offering for the new fans and hip hop listeners and oh boy did he deliver! The 7 track tape consists of the rapper going over some original beats but mostly freestyles over others beats such as Renegade and Paris Morton Music. His flow is unique and refreshing and his lyrical game is strong. YM prolly is looking to make him the next wayne/drake fused rapper, and it def looks like he can do that. Personal fav from the tape is "Preach". The whole tape is dope but could have been longer with maybe another 3 tracks or so, thats why being placed at 10.
#9 - CyHi The Prynce - Hystori: Black History Project

The GOOD music rapper, CyHi The Prince, came out on black history month and gave us a lil lecture on the struggles of the black while talking bout today's issues young black men are facing. With his deep bars on all the tracks along with the classroom skits, he captures a setting which puts the whole project into a type of concept. My fav off the tape gotta be Mandela. The whole tape is cohesive and flows well with the concept of appreciating and letting knowledge out of the black community. Its def a top 10 of the year.
Bino came outta no where with the release of STN MTN and Kuai and it def was a nice surprise. The opening track of the tape comes with raw Gambino going over 3 diff beats and one of them reminded of the 10 000 bars Wayne recorded and was def nice to hear that. The whole tape features dope beats which bino goes over like move that dope and GO DJ and its nice to see Bino progressing further into the rap game. Personal fav gotta be second half of Chandlers Road.

Curren$y provided us with like what 4 mixtapes this year like the first part of this mixtape and the drive in theater but this here was the one with the better Audio Dope. This chill shit rides in the whip and is a must to be bumping while you on cloud 9 or just slow ridin in your whip. Like every curren$y project, this too is real smooth and dope with spitta riding over the instrumentals with ease. Fav off it gotta be Money Shots. That beat and Mac feature wheeeewwww
Ty Dolla $ign gotta be today's version of Nate Dogg. His hook game and voice is on point and forreal looks like Nate too lol (no homo). The EP is strong with the assisted features from rappers such as Wiz and the Interludes before songs make the songs even better. The production is nice with some bangerz but also some RnB where Ty shines. I was bumping this heavy at one point and the whole project flows perfectly from one track to the other. Personal fav was Stretch She Better

so yall prolly dont know this man here but he's a rapper from Toronto and i saw this tape on hnhh one day and thought why not give it a try, and good thing i did that. This tape is pure bliss. Production is top notch and he flows over it all with deep bars. Its def underrated and i reccomend yall go check it out cuz he bout to blow up real quik. Fav off it was Writings on The Wall.
so i might be cheating here cuz i know this was an EP but this was so good that i had to put it somewhere so i put it has a Mixtape. PND doesnt dissapoint here again, with that soulfoul voice and his flow just flows through the 4 tracks making you want more. Fav was Girl From Oakland with like 20 plays in just a week.

I hadn't checked out Travis before this tape but after hearing the buzz from KTT i went ahead and DL'd it and gave it a spin. This shit right here was dopeee. Made me a new fan of Scott. The tape has the bangerz but also features the soulfoul RnB type of tracks making it enjoyable and putting it on my top 3 of the year. Im def waiting on his album now so salute to yall to getting me on the man . Personal fav gotta be Backyard or Grey
Didnt ever listen to this niggah here but i checked it out only for the Joey feat. Few tracks in i noticed it having a theme of water so that was pree tight. The whole tape stuck together with smooth transitions from track to track and Mick's voice was refreshing to hear after all these other rappers sounding the same these days. The whole concept of the tape was dope and there was no filler. Def recommend you check it out if you haven't already. Fav joint off it was Healer.
This right here is my MOTY. This man right here was signed to Logic's Label and just left like a few days. I hadnt checked out him before this tape and decided to check this project of his and was def not disappointed. The whole story in the tape puts everything together and makes you appreciate it. The cover also is related to the story just as a heads up. Production was ill and lyrics on another level. Just has that vibe to it that you can bump at any given time. No filler. Fav off the tape was Dreams.
thats all and shout out to yall for hooking me up with some of these tapes. I dont post much here at all as yall can tell and this was my first thread ever so dont get at me for the ugly layout or some shit like that. ima be making a top 10 album list too soon, just waiting on the Young OG album by fab.
