  • Why is Jay Z's Vol. 3 so slept on?

I see many people disliking this album and i've always regarded it as my favourite out of the In My Lifetime series, so i would like to know what do y'all think of it. Personally, i think the album would be even greater if he made the tracklist like it was supposed to be, apart from the bootlegging that was going on at the time. It would go something like this:

    1 - Hova Song
    2 - So Ghetto
    3 - Do It Again
    4 - Dopeman
5 - Things That U Do (mandatory poppy track)
    6 - It's Hot
    7 - Snoopy Track
    8 - Hova Interlude
    9 - Big Pimpin'
0 - Is That Yo Bitch
    1 - Watch Me
    2 - There's Been a Murder
3 - Come and Get Me
    4 - NYMP
    5 - Jigga My Nigga
    6 - Anything
    7 - Hova Outro

So many classic records in this album, i don't get how this is SO slept on by rap fans in general. Better than Vol. 2 and waaaaay better than Vol. 1... Anyways, share your thoughts with me on this one, i could be overrating it too, but i just love this album lol

                      Man I love Vol. 3!!!!

Im not sleeping on it, Hova Song is the greatest intro in rap history.

I am a Jay Stan tbh. I bump him daily, and I probably bump Vol. 3 more than anything else by him except BP2
