He used to be in a Post Hardcore band, Think along the lines of Sleeping With Sirens or Bring Me The Horizon. He's very talented


The straining technique he uses on his vocals in many of his songs where he sings is called Vocal Fry. It's pretty dope.

He has the ability to cross over into many genres and that is a talent and good thing. He was going to be on Slave's Beautiful Death album as a rapper but that album was under the alternative/post hardcore genre.
