I think Kendrick's music is not so much based on making "hits". Sure he has some hits but his albums are more conceptual than actually focused on making singles or hit records. I would say French's approach is just the opposite.

For sure french Montana has more club party records but he's not bigger than kendrick on a relevant standing point and I'll say french montana has more hits songs/features and kendrick dominates charts and more talented
