ALL these people in the studio and only me, Bliss, Haikes, and Mack have replied. The studio's dead, and i guess yall wanna leave it that way.

i thought i wasnt that big of a rapper to comment on this
but you know i got stuff cooking. i was gonna drop a track today
but bliss told me after his mixtape.

and ive been writting im dropping a mixtape too
i know im new but as long as i get feedback ima post here
i think the best idea is the youtube channel
but also how about Danny posting 1-3 tracks a month in the front page
like advertising us for all the ppl that visit HQ, of the upcoming rappers? hows that?

I Don't Wanna See The Studio Die, Wayyy To Much Talent To Go To Waste, I Recorded A Track A Lil' While Ago, That I Might Drop Tonight, So After That I Can Judge Because I'm Not Gonna Be Able To Record Until i get My Own Mic, So If Ya'll Need Help Judging I Got You

First, Jaime. This is for everyone. We need ANYONE involved in the studio to help out. Ex - I see Nino, Dino, Lovalle, etc in the studio. They come in here, why not help it better? I mean or just give suggestions. Not calling them out, cause the people who actually post stuff in here should be the first to respond. We need the whole studio to help. I mean even people we dont see in here, should start coming. Even if for once a week, 30 minutes, they could give feedback on a couple songs.. And think if we could get at least 20 members who never come to the studio to do that? Thats alot of feedback!

And Mack, its not just about recording. You've already got 5 tracks out, start participating in the written shit on here. You'd have chance of getting your writing better, and maybe get two different awards in the studio awards you know?

Well for the battles, I think it would be a little interesting for you guys to do a ustream type thing and do freestyles live if thats possible? Might be a dumb idea but thats all I have right now

Lovalle, thats a good idea. But each person would have to have webcams. And me i know my webcam is shit and laggy lol. So i wouldnt be able to do it....

Mack, anything helps man. I sucked at writing at first, now i see myself as a good writer. You gotta practice to get better!

Jaime, if Danny's up for it. Maybe we can let him pick 1-however many songs at the end of each month and post them? But just like at the bottom of one of his blog posts... It'd be up to him 100%.

I didn't post in this thread because I didn't have any good ideas, but I will post some feedback on some of the ideas posted in this thread.

The YouTube channel idea seems like a good idea, but I don't think it would really increase popularity in Tha Studio, but it might. I just see it as a necessary step to get Tha Studio back on its feet.

As far as judges go, I don't think there should be permanent "judges" for the 1v1 written/audio battles. I think the community should be the judges of that unless someone says that they would prefer judges. So in the end judges would be good, but should not be used in all cases all of the time. Tournaments = Judges ||| Battles = Community

As I said in a previous thread there need to be sub-forums for Writtens and Battles. The Written Sub-forum is simply for written raps and poetry. There could be a specific system to make sure that feedback stays fluent and steady. For the battles sub-forum, it would be for all battles, written or audio. There could also be a specific system here too, but that is for you guys too decide.

I would really like to help to get Tha Studio back on its feet and eventually get it running again. (get that? )

The youtube thing is like a reward for people in the studio. Except for me, YNR, and Dreezy (If he still comes here)..No one else puts youtube stuff up. Its just another way of promoting. So when contestants win a tournament, win an award, or get a new/mixtape it can be upload! Then they can post on their twitters/facebooks/myspaces for self promotion. Ya dig?

And judges, i didnt say set judges. Cause obviously people are sometimes busy, and sometimes might wanna compete. But the fact of having SET RULES for each main competitions and awards things, is so that the whole studio can help run things. Ya know what i mean? First i could run, then you, then YNR, then even Chronic for all we know lol. Just set rules so when another person decides to host it, its set rules. The studio as a whole can come up with the rules, just so its evenly set.

And yes, Sub Forums 100%. I think thats good. Also i think if we start to do subforums, there shouldnt be no official threads. Just post when ya new shit comes.

And with feedback, it needs to be a whole forum thing. For example, after you give someone feedback, you provide them with a link you want them to check out of yours. For example - I get a new song out, OVO gives me feedback. Then at the end of his post, he puts a link for a new sig he wants feedback on. Ya know what i mean? Things like that...

I mentioned judges, and I mean like you can put your name on a list then if me and YF wanted a battle with 3 judges we can ask the people off the list. It doesn't mean they have to judge every battle etc.. But you have that option available.

I don't think subforums would work at all right now, not until Tha Studio is more active, plus majority is actually audio work as well so a written sub-forum would collect dust on it.

I did suggest a sub-forum for beginners, people just starting out where they can post beats, audio tracks or written work. No negative feedback like just saying something sucks, only positive re-inforcement and constructive help. I think some people are scared to drop a track when people like YF are dropping tracks and shit.
