Tha Studio Rules
1. General Rules
a. Before posting any audio song to Tha Studio, you must first provide proper feedback (read below)!
b. Beef, trash talk, and all other disses are allowed, but MUST stay in Tha Studio at all times and cannot affect feedback. If beef starts affecting feedback in a negative way or is spotted outside of Tha Studio then the users involved will receive an infraction.
c. Spamming of your music is not allowed and will result in an immediate infraction. However, it is okay to advertise your most recent work in other threads (in Tha Studio) whilst giving proper feedback.
d. All written verses are to be posted in the Writers Block subforum.

2. Rules to Posting Music!
a. Before you create a thread for a new audio or written song you must provide proper feedback, or constructive criticism about different aspects of a song or the artists performance on the song, on two different audio/written songs within at least one week prior to posting your song.
b. In order to prove that you have given legit feedback on two written or audio tracks you must post both links at the bottom of your original post. If you do not post two links that lead to your feedback when then your thread will be locked.
Example:
c. Thread titles should contain (1) the artists name, (2) the song title, (3) all featured artists (if any) and (4) the producer (if necessary).
d. Do not add words to your thread title to emphasize that it is a good/bad song. Words such as fire, hot, amazing, etc. being used to describe your written/audio are not acceptable and will be removed. Let those giving feedback be the judge of that.
e. Also, be sure to use proper grammar. Threads in all caps will be adjusted and repeated offenses may be worthy of an infraction.
f. When posting a new audio track we ask that you upload it to a file sharing site (Hulkshare, Limelinx, Supashare, Sharebeast, Soundcloud, etc.) or Youtube. Links to anywhere else such as MySpace will be removed.
g. When posting a mixtape (or album) you must at least provide a Datpiff link or something similar. A streaming leak is preferred. You may also upload your mixtape (or album) anywhere else as an alternate link and post it for download.
h. If you are releasing a large quantity of music at once, please condense all of the songs into one thread to keep the forums more organized. Some users have dedicated threads, or "Official Artist Threads", that they post many of their songs in over the course of several weeks.

3. Providing Proper Feedback
a. All feedback must contain some form of constructive criticism. As a community, we are here to help each other grow and develop as artists. Try to leave at least one thing positive and one thing negative (if any) about someone's work.
b. Feedback such as "Nice job!", "That sucked!", etc. are not valid forms of feedback to be used for posting a song or written verse.
c. If you expect to receive feedback on a song or written verse, we suggest you provide detailed feedback to many songs or verses. Usually, the members you give feedback will return the favor!
