What mic should I get?

Okay, so I have 100-150 to blow and I would like to know which is the best mic to get. Preferably from Staples, Walmart, or Best Buy.

NOTE: Not confirmed I'm getting a mic, but I would like to browse.

well i bestbuy and walmart etc are not gonna have the best mics, so i suggest buying it online and having it delivered..
i bought mine online ... i bought here USB Microphones

and there is all the USB mics (that just connect to ur usb slot in ur pc), you can read info there and google the ones that catch the attention
condenser mics are always supposed to be better idk why and also try getting a pop filter...


the mic i bought is this one USB Microphones
im mad ... i bought it for like 75 and now its cheaper

but yeah check out diff mics, read reviews, youtube ppl with it etc....

TMZ is right. That mic is really sick, and it comes in USB version. Which is what you want. But also, you can find the mic on Amazon or another site for like $95. Then you'd have money for a pop filter as well.... And i doubt shipping would be much or cost anything.

Wow that mic is sick and very professional. I have a few questions about it though (and every mic in general).

Could I put it on a regular stand and not just the tripod it comes with?
How would I go about applying the pop filter to it?
If I had to get a regular mic rather than USB, how would I hook it to my computer?

Yeah that mic is sick. My homie has it, and i think im getting it soon actually.

- Im sure it will fit on other stands.
- Pop filters can work ANY way. You just got to find something near-by (The mic stand or something similiar) and clamp it. Then just position it the way you want it. Click her for example
- I think with that mic, in order for it to work properly and to its full ability, you'd have to buy an interface with it as well. Which are like $50-$100 i'd guess. Or if the mic works with it, you would have to buy an adapter which are like $5 at radioshack. That is why i'd encourage you to buy it in the usb. Usb would just be plus into your usb drive on your computer, and record (Maybe have to install a CD or something.)
