Kidd JD needs work on his lyrics. And his volume goes up and down kinda like hes nervous. On some of the songs, his verses are so low that you can't even hear them. Your verses are nice. Good punch lines, youre just a little off beat sometimes. But you'll get better with time. Keep working, youre gonna be good.

Yeah, he had a problem while recording, I think he was nervous.

I downloaded Killa, I'll listen to it tonight or tomorrow.

need some vocal mastering work. may be the microphone, may not. but other stuff sounds good. keep it up and lets hear some more!

mic is the most important thing.. there's a few but if u dont have money to buy a program, download Audacity.. it's decent, download here -> Audacity: Download also you might have to download "LAME" to convert the files u edit there to mp3.. download and instructions here -> Audacity: How do I download and install the LAME MP3 encoder?

there's other programs.. i use Mixcraft 5, theres protools, Sony Vegas, etc. which u would have to pay for or find a hack, but theyre really hard to find, i just recommend audacity bc it's free and simple, until you can get a better sofware

play with effects. alot.. when i master my songs i take my time to play with my vocals til i like how they sound.. Classic Master Limiter to make it sound louder.. Classic Compressor to make vocals sound more clear... some of the classic chorus make vocals better too (for me) also the order in which u place the sound effects matter on the way it sounds .. uhmm on the sound wave thingies.. you see those baby blue dots? play with them to fix some parts of your rapping that sounds too low, or too loud. try for everything to be at the same volume. Also take your time mastering, listen to it several times til u like it, sometimes i re-record words or lines to make the verse sound better... Use background sounds on a different audio track to make it sound more professional ... any questions you have i can try to help you, ive worked with mixcraft since i started and its easy to use...

When mastering, only adjust the vocals, don't go crazy and change them. The smallest adjustment can make or break vocals. It also sounds like your using a computer mic, a very cheap one. A good mic will really change how you sound, and EQing that mic correctly.
