well if u wanna make beats mixcraft aint good for that but if u wanna just look at the bottom of the screen when the program comes up and it says library and from there u pik the instruments u wanna use but if u wanna lay down an instrumental then just look at the top right of the screen by the lil disket where it has a folder with a music note click on that and then itll take u to ur documents and from there just pik wichever instrumentals u have downloaded
