Overall: 3/5, Hmmm. Asher Roth style college music eh? Production wise this song is fantastic. Snares might be a little too loud at the beginning, but its excusable. "Go down like recessions"? i dunno about that one. Hook is great though. You two do pretty well together. As far as lyrics though, maybe more wordplay? great job though
Idk if I would really classify it as Asher Roth music.
True. But its still in the same vein to me. He made it popular with "I Love College", and after his success with that song, every random 20something that spent a few years in college decided it was "hip" to rap about their collegiate experiences. So, personally, I call it all Asher Roth Music. Although Roth is a very great lyricist and most of them arent that great. Just talking about beer pong titties and weed.

I may have listened to a different song than you...no where in this did we mention college...im not even in college nor did i go to a university when I was...Hmmm..so it seems as though you may have "listened" to the song but didnt really listen.....and maybe you shouldnt just hear a party song and automatically associate it with college, i promise you'll hear a lot less "Asher Roth" songs
I wasnt necessarily tossing your song in the same bag as many others by any means. On the initial listen it seemed like one of those "hey lets party and get drunk" songs. Like you said, its a party song. For some reason, reminds me of other people's previous work. You might take it as an attack, but that was not my intention at all.
