    Re: Recording questions

Dude, your music sounds cool to me (When you rap in English lol), keep it up. Just keep doing what you're doing. Download some effects. Just search like "Free Compression VST Effect" or whatever kind of effect you are looking for on Google. Test out different ones. See which you like. Thats what I did. Here is one good effect though, I think it makes the vocals as a full more crisp and louder without loosing quality. Download Peak Comp2Mono dll

Thanks a lot! Haha the English parts since you don't know Spanish? Ha thanks for the reply too...does that effect make it sound real because my songs sound way too raw...I notice the mastered iTunes songs have this slight echo after everything...how can I get that??

Yeah I don't know it lol. But that effect might help them not sound as 'raw'. Use compression, master limiter, some EQ, maybe a little reverb. But with the echo effect, I'm not sure how to do that. Maybe if you mess with the delay effects in Mixcraft, you can figure it out. Just take one of the presets and edit the settings around till it sounds like you want it.

For Mixcraft, just find where the download went to (Mine goes to desktop). Then go to my computer, C Drive, Program Files, Acoustica Mixcraft, VST. Just put it in the VST folder. Then restart Mixcraft, then it should be in the effects folder. Should be about the same steps for Pro Tools too.
