you gotta work on controlling the tone of your voice i could tell that you didnt do it in one take. the lyrics are dope but because the tone of your voice shifts your flows sounds a little off keep it up tho

Wasn't feelin the slow flow, not really my style. You had a really good delivery though and great quality. Damn, why does everyone on this site have such good quality Liked some of the lyris though. I related to some of it. Good job, I'll be lookin out for the tape.

This is a straight up freestyle, that's why the sound/flow seems different and it wasnt recorded all at one time. I just thought of the next line and recorded it, and went like that, verse by verse.

Flow: 5/10 It just seemed off. There would be a few lines where it was on point, but then a few where it was off kilter.
Lyrics: 8.5/10 Pretty dope. Good story, not really my type of song, but dope for its type.
Mixing: Dope. Good job on that. Very clear. Studio quality.
Overall: 7.5/10

I really wish Drake wouldn't have hopped on this track. J Cole did it well enough by himself and now every rapper is hoppin on it. Now to feed.

Your vocals are a bit loud, they don't really blend with the beat. You have an original voice and I feel like I've heard it before tbh. You said nigga and I could have sworn you were white btw. Your flow was slow and on tempo and suited the track. Your rhyme schemes aren't simple and that's a good thing. Your style really stands out, it's not the same old. I'd like to hear you do a more aggressive delivery and fast pace flow.

Overall I liked it. I heard you on The Expendables with Sentus and Gucci Lame and I thought I should feed something. Keep it up bro. I'll def download a tape by you.

Lol J Cole made this song like a full year or two before Drake hopped on it. Pretty easy to outshine someone who was just doing a concept track for a mixtape.
