It wasn't your whole verse, it was just a few bars that stood out to me, especially the ending. The last two bars I hear so many times that it's just annoying to hear now. Everyone rhymes hearse with verse. I've done it, pretty sure everyone on here has and at first I was like oh that's a cool rhyme scheme, but it's just played out now. Not that they are terrible bars, just I've heard bars like them before so lyrically you didn't wow me.

Thank you to everyone for the feedback. Is there anything I could improve on? I love positive feedback, but to me even negative feedback has a positive outcome.

Edit: Also corruption, you are getting better, but just take your time with every bar (I need to take my own advice!) and in a short time you will have a masterpiece. Normally when I write a verse if there is anything at all that I dislike about it, on how it flows or sounds or if I start finding a bar corny I will keep revising it to make it perfect, to me at least. I didn't with this, but check some of my writtens from the past, you will see the true effort.

Edit 2: I'm happy with the turnout and attention that this cypher is getting compared to the last one. Good job everyone, this is a close competition. Now we just need some more people to vote.

but it just didn't sound or seem right to stop so sudden like if i heard it from a listener's point of view i'd be like "wtf it just ended?!?!? are you fucking kidding me" so i tried to put a filler in there. the next song i put out i'll try to do a lot better. i wanna use this beat as a full song and just create whole new lyrics so maybe i'll give you the wow factor in that song.

haha that was gonna be the next thing i was gonna mention. i've only done one collab and that was with YNR. i was suppose to do another one with him and dreezy on it but i think he forgot about the song since he's working on an album

nah jp, its nice bro, but how u not gonna try to win a cypher. u should've put that in the cypher instead.

personally i think instead of a big cypher like this , we should've did 1 on 1 battles , tournament style.

that way , compare 2 rappers , and its easier to decide a winner and who moves on.

this shit, i bet niggas wasnt really listenin to the lyrics , becuz it was like 20 people in this cypher.

honestly i only listened to half of them, then voted for sentus,
i still got the tabs open for the other half, ill listen to later, cuz im lazy and cool like dat.

the other cypher was better becuz there was less to choose from and easy to see who won.

I'd love to collab, but tbh I'd like to try work on getting some better mixing/mastering settings before I potentially wreck good songs. The weird thing is, my I Get Lonely Too settings were great, normally I mix and master well, but I find it tough to find the balance when a beat has heavy bass and drums like this one.

I'm using Mixcraft 5, sE2200 mic, Yamaha Audiogram 3 pre-amp and a Sony VAIO I-5 laptop so I dunno where I'm going wrong. A bit of compression, chorus, putting vocals in the middle of a mix etc, I'm following all tips and coming up a little short.

Meh, this ain't a "Ziggy tell us about your problems" thread so Imma leave it at that but I'm just typing aloud lol.

lol well i don't take things personal plus i know i need work and i'll take any criticism even if its a "you suck, kill yourself and quit" i won't get mad at there opinion. it actually makes me wanna work harder and prove them wrong so i never get mad at feedback
