Suicidal Tendencies / Chorus is iffy. Dont know if its the effects or what. I think its the effects used on the whole first verse make this one hard to listen to. Production is great. You do a great job of capturing the title of this song and portraying that concept lyrically throughout.
Self Reflection / Good commentary on this one.
Losin' Myself / Very good lyrics on this one. Check it out.
Creepin' / No the biggest fan of this beat. There are points where things just run together. Needs better delivery inflection maybe.
Lyrical Venom / That. intro. sample. goes. HARD. THIS BEAT GOES HARD! You do an excellent job of taking this and MURDERING IT.
Anytime / Effects on hook are questionable. The Flanger i think you used isnt the best. I think a doubling flanger effect woulda worked better, with maybe a phaser. That's just me though.
Slacker Remix / Can hear some mic noise on this one. Might wanna go back and clear it or just remember to check it next time. Good nod to Tech9 though. Kudos. My college roommate was a big fan of his, so I got exposed to a lot of his earlier catalog.
Black Sunglasses Freestyle / That fast flow was killer. Flow tempo changes on this are really nice. Wish you keep the dice rolling on this one.
Certified in Hip-Hop / Damn...that was some straight spit right there son.


Mastering - A-, Seems very good. Very on point. You did a good job of mixing the vocals. Sounds pretty high quality. Where was this recording? In a studio or home? Regardless you can't tell.

Beat Selection - A, All these beats capture the artist perfectly. Good job Harry.

Flow - A+, Flow is perfect.

Delivery - B+, Perfect delivery. How long have you been rappin?

Lyrics - A, Lyrically you got some fire man. I like story teller rappers a lot. It's like when I hear 'Royce spit, I listen to every word, every syllable. Doesnt matter if there's a beat there or not. To me, the beat is just the sidekick to the verse when story telling rappers spit. There is a lot of greatness in this project, and that's what got me to downloaded it. You're not talking about bitches, hoes, cash, and lambos like most people around here (including myself sometimes when I make a commercial track). The eloquence you display in telling your history, the path you took to get here, and life in general through your eyes is fantastic. Keep G.R.I.N.D.'n man.

Thx for the reply mykill. Id like to note that the first verse in suicidal tendancies was recorded by the rapper himself and not at my home studio. This goes for the last verse on creepin as well as the following songs; anytime, slacker remix, and black sunglasses freestyle. I also did not have anything to do with the beat selection but that will change on the next project we work on.

Im glad someone on this site didnt sleep on this and I appreciate the feedback. Here's some specs on my equipment:
Mic: Audio-Technica AT4033CL
pre: DMP3
mixer: behringer, not sure of the model off the top of my head.
DAW: sony acid 7

I have less than 2000 invested and I get fairly close to studio quality. Feel free to share the mixtape with ur friends, theres a download link on that site for the mixtape. ill post a link below in case it's not showing up.
