I release this track for mulitiple reasons. Yes it is a track from No Surrender, Retreat
(dropping 5/23/2011). It's not finished at all, not well mastered or anything. I release it: 1. For input on what people with think of it . 2. Because I like this is song lol. 3. Because my songs with hooks aren't faring to well, lol, so I try out a freeverse type track. It also contains more multis. 4. Because most of the tracks on the top of this page are instrumentals. Where the fuck are all the rappers lately? Anyways, any feed back is appreciated as well.

I dig this. I thought you had great wordplay and a great flow over this track. The only thing I would change would be in the mastering. I thought you sounded in the background a little too much, but then again I have a very limited knowledge on vocal recording so take it for what it's worth. Overall I thought this track was good.

Not sure if I'm out of bounds on this but if you need some hooks, hit me up. I can write pretty decent hooks if I know the content of the song.

Thanks for the feedback man. I felt like that about the vocals too. That's one thing I'm definitely gonna change in the final.
Thanks for the offer on the hooks, but I'd feel like I was cheating if I didn't write all my own material lol. I'm working on getting better at that though.

I like the song bro. I reall yliek this type of songs when someone just raps all the way throughout a beat. Your flow was good and ur lyrics were good aswell. Its a solid track. Just master it a lil more be4 u release the final version.

yer im feelin this man beat is nice, lyrics are pretty tight too your voice reminds me of biggie aha, gunna give this a 4-5 would of like to hear this speed up midverse a few times with a faster flow, but other than that its tight track

You do in a way sound little like biggie, hahaha. I personally didnt like the beat, its really simple and takes a little bit of value out of the song. The lyrics on the otherwise, are good, good use of multis, didnt over do them and didnt under do them! The flow was good, there was one or two spots where (to my ear) you fell off a little but you brought it rite back up! 4/5, its good and its not even properly mastered :p hahaha, ill be checking the tape when it drops!

Overall: 3.75/5, Always catchy with the punchlines. You need to do a better job in the future of delivering your punches. Sometimes they fail to catch the listener's ear because you spit em like the lead up lines to em so they dont sound different. I think that's why people say your rhymes sound so monotone, its because you dont give the appropriate energy in some of your lines. Liked the concept. Liked the bars. Flow seemed to be perfect on this one. When mastering check your noise levels. You need to get it to a point where it doesnt sound like you're recording in your room. Try to hit your raw vocals up with a compressor next time, throw some SLIGHT reverb on them, enough to give it a little ambiance, and everything should sound more..."full". Keep up the good work sir.
