Overall: 2.75/5, Beat is good. You seem to have an affinity for MJ samples. Not a bad thing at all. Getting Jay on this track was a good choice, because he always brings his unique energy to everything he touches and he shines on upbeat tracks like this. A lot like me in my songs, I think a lot of the bars on this track from both parties were a bit rushed. Sometimes when you get into that mode, you neglect clarity - making it hard for people to understand what you're saying. Remember, that everything has to flow together, so that the final product is flawless. The hook was good, but next time take a minute to add something to it. Make every element of the song/beat your own. The harder you work, the more effort you put into a song, the better the product not just for yourself, but for the listener too. Always my hardest but best critic lol. I understand what you mean about the clarity. I'm trying to learn to rap faster. I tried it out in the third verse. Guess it didn't work as well i thought lol. Thanks for the feedback bro.

I love this funk beat! Jay Tunes is verse is dope, but is it just me or is the mastering a little bit rusty, or is it just the quality of the mic? I can see you put a lot of effort Crary when rapping.. this is a good thing! cuz the 2nd verse i thought your flow was sick. Lyrics are okay for this kind of beat

Professor yeah i agree i noticed since i started mastering it, but it's because Mac's quality is good and loud... so i had to match it some how and it came out sounding a little distorted, price i had to pay haha . In my songs i usually keep my vocals at a decent volume right before they start sounding a lil bad... but i had to turn em up here...
