there is no such thing as a WALL on a microphone. There is however a pop filter which is infront of the mic to help break certain consonants, like an S or a P. Or maybe you are talking about those mini isolation things that go behind the mic to help with reflections. the pop filter is a must on any condensor mic while recording vocals and is 20-30$ depending on which you buy. the cheap one is just fine.. The reflector piece is about 250-350......... I know some good specifics as to working at a sam ash for a while. Ive produced forever and if you have any question just ask!
