If nothing else, Blanco is a testament to what level every small timer should be aspiring to be on. I'm not saying that anything he does is minimal in anyway; he's got the heart of a lion and the punchlines to knock the greatest down for the count. At first glance, one would suspect this body of work to be nothing more than another drop in the water, but knowing who he is and what he's about I knew that this would a classic. I gave the first six tracks a good listen while going for a walk and I was mesmerized. I never got the sense that at any point Blanco was being lazy. I never listened to a moment of hesitation or doubt in any bar that was spit on any track. Blanco is the voice of the south, and there's not a single rapper in Tha Studio that can tell me otherwise. Seldom I put people on pedastals, but if I were to make a hall of fame for this forum, there is no doubt Blanco would be in it. Every inch of "A Gram" symbolizes someone who's hungry, eager to get to the top and has the tools and the desire to get there. If you havent listened to it, stop sleepin'. I know I say that a lot, but do yourself a favor and check it out. You wont be disappointed.
