A lil something I came up on my freetime, oh and this is the first time I ever attempt to write a poem? so cut me some slack
I tried to give you the world but you didnt take it
have me feeling like theres something wrong with the way I tried to feel the sensation
of you sitting by my side knowing you'll have my back through any bad situation
that life throws at me, whether it be my fault or not
I just wanted to hear your voice say it'll be ok, damn even a nod
I guess that was too much to ask for from you
Now im sitting here, planning my next move
should I accept the pain and move on?
Or keep fighting for the forbidden love that keeps putting your image in my head on and on
throughout the day i try to carry on without daydreaming
about the love we coulda had, and I just keep thinking
If I still have a chance
I swear girl you have me in a trance
But I've been through this before
Just a crush blown out of proportion, if I was any smarter I woulda backed away long before
Atleast I tried, just don't come and complain to me when all the men you thought were good, screw you over once they get to 3rd base
But that wouldn't have been our case

you can't tell me this is fake
But oh well, just show me the gates
out of your life, I wasted enough of my time
trying to convince you, you should be mine but you treated it like a crime
