What beats do u prefer? also are you saying that kryspy's beats are boring too?
because they have old school feel as well.
i think todays generation are too use to busy beats so they flow simple on them, where as in the old school era, they had simpler beats, and alot of them had crazier more interesting flows. just my opinion though. the simple beats give you room to do more on them.

Old beats can be a bit daunting, but y'all rappers should be able to rap on anything. unless you posses the curse of being a whack ass rapper.. and fuck dood. cypher beats don't need to be OLD, they need to have the technique witch really emphasis/enhance the rappers flow/lyrics. Dr. Dre did this with eminem beats

Someone should post that "classic" beat (I forgot who was the producer, maybe dj premier if I'm not mistaken) but that beat was dope as fuck.
