I feel like the instruments you use aren't that bad, but the rhythm is pretty odd; the snare hits at odd places (try layering the snare to give it more "pop" and/or "crunch") and try a more solid 4/4 rhythm, just having the snare on the 2 and 4; then once you get a good vibe for a more standard structure, then maybe try to branch out and do rhythms like this which have a more irregular feel; keep at it man, but try to do some more simple, straightforward stuff for now

Odd is never bad, you got a different style, use it to your advantage. Here's a tip, the best shit comes naturally, if you feel like youre forcing it, it probably will sound forced. Good shit. Keep it up!
