First time writing, feedback would be appreciated

alright, this is my first time writing a verse. my friend challenged me to do so, so i did.
The topic was black and white images (making things clear), i took only 5 mins on it, and feedback would be appreciated.

To begin, my visions blurry
because i live life in such a hurry
colorblind, all i see is right and wrong, black and white
but, don't worry, i'll be alright
as long as you're standing by my side
girl, no worries my camera's focused
you should know that idon't want to blow this
so, i'm done being phony
you're the one that really knows me
there's one thing i promise to always do
and that's right by you


as i said, it was my first verse. the two people i let read it both thought it was good and liked it.

Writing an activity for the first time is always difficult. When I joined the university and I got the essay assignment for the first time It was almost impossible for me.
