    Re: MC_CRARY-MC_Crary World Order [Album]

That's what's up dude, I'm glad you liked it. Holden Caufield is a very important song on the album. I figured I'd explain it at some point. Holden Caufield is a character in my favorite book Catcher in the Rye. There's a part towards the end of the book where Holden explains the meaning of the book title. He wants to be "in a rye full of little children playing. Theyre playing close to a cliff and he is the proverbial Catcher in the Rye." Saving them from falling. I'm taking that as my reason in the game. To save us from falling, were so close to the edge. Not just musically but as a people. We need that Catcher in the Rye. Or maybe I'm just feelin myself lol. Check the lyrics on it now maybe you'll like it a bit better lol.

I just wanted to say I really appreciate everyone checking this out. This is some of the best feedback on a(n) album/mixtape in a while. Tha Studio's really becoming great again and it's because of all of the people in the community. My progression in music owes a great deal to Tha Studio and I see that continuing. Hopefully everyone else takes as much as I do from this place and utilize it o become better artists. Thanks again.

By the Way I'm back to work. New singles, remixes, and shit coming. Stay looking. LMI x MMG

Downloading now. I'll leave feedback later. I'm anticipating this album, I still have one of your mixtapes in my iTunes cause it was just too dope. I really like that Carl Winslow song LOL. Hope this one makes my high-standards and stays in my iTunes as well.

---------- Post added at 08:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:59 AM ----------

A Gangsta's Paradise - Coooold intro. The beat is just sick, but I can't lie for half of the song on my first listen I was speed freestyling. I feel a faster flow would have fit that track a bit better. Song was lyrically dope after a second listen. I feel like you came in kind of weak (flow wise), but everything after that was just dope.

Kill-a Nigga Bizness - Another amazing, smooth beat. You really have that MC_Crary flow down pat (guess that's why I call it the MC_Crary flow). This whole song is so chill. Lyrics stood out more so than your lyrics on this one.

Me Against the World - I like this song a lot. I love the 2pac drops throughout. The chorus was pretty damn sick as well, which is weird cause there was like no emotion haha. The transition to the second verse was different, but it sounded ok. Lyrics on this one are the truth. Your meaningful songs are just as good as your killa songs.

The next few songs - I didn't pay as much attention to leave full feedback for some of the tracks. Chillin with the Chief had a great hook on it! Another Nigga's Bitch and The Substitute go hand in hand and both stick to the same subject pretty much.

She Coulda Had Me - This song is good. This might be my favorite thus far. I like the emotion on the chorus, the lyrics are deep once again and stick to the topic, and the beat is a bit faster, but somehow your flow fit on it. Great song!

Money and Women - The chorus was okay on this one, but could have been executed a little better. The beat is sick, I love piano based beats. You killed this one lyrically. Smooth track...

              More feedback coming soon...

Thanks for the listens guys. Glad you caught the Pac refrences on Me Against the World. Seems like everyone loves that She Coulda Had Me. I think I'm gonna post the original. See what ya'll think of that one. I was less ambiguous with exactly who the girls that I was talking about lol. Alot of people like the latter half better. Hope you keep listening.

                          Re: MC_CRARY-MC_Crary World Order [Album]

                          1. Gangsta's Paradise - Dope beat. The first verse was the best verse on this track imo. Quality shit bro. "My words a religion, a way of living" dope line... 8/10.
                          2. Kill-a Nigga Bizness - Funky ass beat, with a up beat flow. "She must be Wondawoman how she make my dick invisible, all the way down her throat" ROFL swag. 7.5/10.
                          3. Me Against the World - Opening lines on your first verse were sick.. Some real shit on this song, I dig with that. You're the kinda rapper people can believe what they say (Not saying you are faking or something) and relate. That's something to be proud of. Your energy is a big helper of that. You put your heart into it. "Tired of this game but you can't put it on pause" enough said. 8/10.
                          4. Beastin - Some more crazy opening lines... damn. The energy on the hook is epic. You need more hooks like this on your songs, real talk bro. 7.5/10.
                          5. Chillin' with the Chief - I jussss be chillin' with the chiefffffff. Catchy shit. Dope flow on this. 7/10.
                          6. Another Nigga's Bitch - Smooth flow...... weakest track so far on the album though. Just couldn't get into it really. 6/10.
                          7. Substitute - Cool concept on this. Weirdest flow on this, but I fuck with it. Always reminded me of Spitta with the 'Imma say what I want and how I want to' flow. Not much else to say. Average song. 7/10.
                          8. She Coulda Had Me - Another track somewhat about girls... that's a few in a row. Shoulda switched it up some. Hearing the same top over kinda made me not able to really vibe with this. 5/10.
                          9. Money and Women - Reminds me of some Ross shit.... dope. Still kinda erked you didn't switch up the song subjects up throughtout the album... Some ill lyricism on this one though. I like it. 7/10.
                          10. Holden Caufield - I remember you explaining the story behind this record somewhere, but can't remember what you said about it... Still like it. Telling a 'lil story on this one. I feel this. 8/10.
                          11. Catcha Freeman Ft JR Nickz - Cool concept.... "It's been going on forever, them nigga's clever" Corruption started yearssssssssss ago. JR's verse quality through off the vibe of this.... But he was going in. Gotta get that quality on lock. He had a dope flow, and still reminds me of TI lol. 8/10.
                          12. Heavy Ft John Dare - Where was John Dare on this? Or am I missing something? Lol. This is some political rap... I can fuck with it. The flow was eh on this though. 7/10.
                          13. - Can I Kick It - What was that hook on this? Lol. "Got a lot to say, and I'm nocturnal" I know what you mean on that, I remember just staying up til sun comes up just writing music... Miss those days I would do that lol. 7/10.
                          14. My World Ft Mykill - Cool background vocals by Mykill... "Potatoes and asaparagus; beatiful women to share it with..." hell yeah, dope line. Nice flow through the whole song. 8/10.
                          15. Menace II Society - Hook could've been executed better definitely. I feel like I've heard this flow from you too many times. Get back going in on some unexpected shit bro... 6.5/10.
                          16. Trippin' Ft Cli-City - Liked your verse a lot on this, ever since I heard it when you asked me to hop on this. I wrote a verse and everything, just never had time to record it and no where to record it. What a shame. Well it's still a dope song with just you and Cli. Cli-City came with the normal flame. Dope flow always with dope lyricism. You painted pictures with your raps in this, but maybe I can just relate with a lot of what you were rapping about lol. 8/10.
                          17. H.M.M Ft JR Nickz and Mykill - JR sounds white and like a redneck in this lol. Doesn't really remind me of TI on this, which is crazy. Your verse was cool Crary, nothing special though. Mykill had a dope ass verse on this. Flow was really good and some dope lyrics. Favorite verse on this track goes to Mykill. 7/10.
                          18. Drunk and Stoned - This beat is whatever, I think a different idea could've made the beat come out better. A more of a talking, rapping outro to the album would've been dope. Your flow was pretty cool though. The end was sick. 7/10.

Overall the album was good. The first fourth of the album was top notch quality then it fell off, coming back with a few good songs then ending strong. I didn't really say much on each track because feedback for you on this is more overall. You either come with a really creative, insane, dope flow; or you come with the usual Crary, out of the norm, played safe flow. Your flow is never really bad or off beat anymore. Just've just adapted this flow and stuck with it alot. And on most tracks your energy is the same (The energy isn't bad, it's not weak whatsoever) but it all kinda just starts sounding the same. Your lyrics are on point. But I feel sometimes you just ramble on somewhat in your verses. Definitely the songs you have topics on, definitely retaining to women. All of this feedback I'm giving isn't nessecarily bad, because I still think this album is good, but being more creative and venturing from your usual ways could bring your music to a new level. Features on this did their thing. Production was decent. Some top notch production mixed in with some average beats. You've grown alot with your music since you've been posting on here. I was always the one to say you'd be dope one day. Your flows used to be off beats and weird back in the day, but I said once you fixed that you'd be dope. You've always had the energy and lyrics and heart to make good music. Keep it up brother. 3 and a half out of 5 stars.
