  • Industry Potential?

Simple question. What rappers here (if any) do you think have any chance at actually making it into the industry.

The person i think has the most chance is J-Smooth..He hasnt really posted any music recently but for like a month or 2 he was droppin songs non stop and he has a good voice, good lyrics and good flow..I dont think he's the best "Rapper" here but his songs have replay value. They just sound good..

    Thoughts?

Checkmate can make it into the industry he already fits in with the type of music currently being played....honestly soulja boy is a rapper...so that scope is so much more broad in my eyes.....if alot of people on here get the opportunity to really take time out and make music..without a doubt they would make it....

I think lyrically BlakeJay, DeezyMac, McCrary...(Nickz probably with Dipset them)....(Sentus and Coleon but they would be more underground than mainstream) and Yung Diezel...
and Mykill would probably be like a trap artist....

Checkmate, DeezyMac and Yung Diezel probably has the best chances though...

I agree with 85% of what Cli said. Me? Trap artist? Negative. I'd rather be like Diddy and help produce and cultivate artists.

Bro you might not have confidence in your hooks...but I can guarantee if you got an authentic Lex Luger beat..that hook will be off the chain....look at French Montana..you are a better rapper and hooksmith than dude and he just got signed...

J smooth, not lyrically but he just sounds good on a track

Who knows, Tha Studio is currently a sea of mediocrity. Mykill would be a dope producer/hypeman while dropping the occasional verse , and Cli is probaly the most comfortable, studio sounding rapper, plus being talented can't hurt.

I genuinely rate my own chances though, no ego, being able to sing gives you far more options in the industry.

                      Re: Industry Potential?

Akukka, Cli-city, and my friend jayarra will hit the music industry by storm. I understand how fame works and hyping stuff up, they all three know what they're doing musically, though just have not had a helping hand. These are the only three people I've listened to on here, but anyone I say is part of the dream team in. Gangster on Disciples productions, spreading people's name and drawing people in is what I know how to do. I can rap and sing, but it is not where my true talent lies and you will rarely here me other then the loud, crazy voice on the background talking my team up in pauses without even mentioning my name.

I've only heard accukka and cli though and cli's really good already and accukka's voice is already there. Probably more talent on here then that.
