  • Scooby-Doo Sample Beat (MF DOOM Type)

DOOM style beat I made from a couple different samples; one of them being a Scooby-Doo cartoon sample

    MP3 Player SoundClick

Not as gritty as most DOOM beats but just the tone of those bells and the cartoon sample give it that DOOM flavor

Beat is repetitive but every 16 bars the drum pattern switches into a new rhythm to give the beat some freshness; let me know what you think!

RThis is dope! I like the rythm change. I can already imagine a hook to this one. Great work!

        Sounds really really good.
Great arrangement of instruments. Breaks are good. You have really improved since the last time I listened to your beats.
Composition sounds freakin' spectacular though. Samples are placed well and seemed mastered well.
Definitely something I would spit on given the opportunity/time.

        Great job dude. Overall: 4.25/5

yeah man, I went back and listened to some of the beats I posting like 3-4 months ago and some of them are just straight up not good hahaha; I find it fascinating that your ear is so underdeveloped wen you first start out that you really just can't tell that your mixes and so terrible compared to what else is out there, it really amazes me that I thought I would never get better than the level I was at months ago and now I've kinda started to understand where I sit and how much room there is to keep getting better and better -- good to hear the positive feed though man, good to hear I'm not the only one who hear the improvements!!

hey... first of all... tks for the feedback on my thread.. i appreciate it..
im new to this so can't leave any technical feedback, but in terms of musicality.. how come u decided to keep the same small melody throughout? It did get a lil repetetive.. but i liked the change of the drums from about .50... if you JUST changed the melody a lil to change it up i think it would have been much better.. this cud be a result of personal taste tho lol

Melody on this is the same cause the sample unfortunately didn't really have much room to play with -- that's why I decided to switch up the drum rhythms to try to get some variation in this; beat definitely gets a bit repetitive but hopefully with a dope lyricist on this one they can pull thefocus of the track off the repetitiveness and keep the listener focusing on the vocals
