I'm so happy I stayed up for this.

Nickz did body you on Hip-Hop. Props for gettin that Instinct hook before me. I listened to your verse multiple times. Rhyme scheme's good but I don't understand the concept of the verse. First it seemed like you were speaking on lies and corruption of politicians. Then you talk a little a black history, mentioned people losing faith in the church, speak on Obama, then shout out Smooth. There's no central theme to your verse in my opinion, unless I'm missing something. Sounds like each 4 bars or so belong on different songs. I liked the aggressiveness in Smooth's Lord Knows. Back to that bitch flow on this one. Smooth's verse was so much more on topic than yours. I don't think he necessarily bodied you, just stayed on topic. Seemed to spit some real shit on this, but common J Smooth verse to me. Nothing that stands out about to me. Well other than the fact that the "I'm headin home, back me in Cli" line sounds mad homo. Standout hook for Instinct. Only listened to this on my laptop speaks so no real comments on the mixing. Sounded pretty smooth for a Cli track though.

Tried to tell him that but he doesn't agree....

I approached home as home land as oppose to my block...the theme is a story about Uncle Sam...I basically described Uncle Sam as the person that is in control of my home and how corrupt he is, then I describe that even though Uncle Sam treats us like step kids and like this land aint our home as well..we have people that that fought for out rights to make this land our home...then I ended about how we almost gave up on claiming what is actually ours and ended with "My president is black J Smooth we finally home......that is how I approached.....i know the concept is gonna go over a lot of niggas head..but I approached it that way
          for a reason

Im trying to leave an impact before im outta time
so I'm heading home, bat me in cli" - J Smooth

I can't tell the difference between the music released by famous "professionel" rappers, and some of y'all!

Amazin' song! Not one bit I hated bout this. Beat was on point, both verses by both rappers were on point and the hook was on point... Good job!

I thought u really went in on this one n the multies n flow were precise imo j smooths verse was mediocre at best. not one of his better verses from a lyrics standpoint. I would have thought after hearing your verse he would have chose to pry apart the subject and dig a lil deeper but all n all a good song. 4/5 instinct bodied the hook btw
