The Red Hot Chili Peppers are my favorite band, so this interested me. The first beat was better in my opinion, the second one was way to slowed down. Didn't really like that one at all. I just feel like your interpretation of this song was way to simple. This song has so much feeling and emotion it, and its gets so lost in these. Better luck next time.

the looping's a bit jagged. I think there might be a tad extra at the end of the sample.

Also your drums sound a little boring.
