  • Poyo - Cash on Deck (Prod. By Young Jerz)

So because of personal stuff Poyo got sent to a group home and he gets out June 18th. He can't use mobile or internet and he can barely ever leave. Poyo's brother is sending Poyo's latest unreleased tracks and we keep on posting them once in a week until everything is out. So I wish u can give some feed and thumbs up or anything to support these songs. This one is produced by Alumni producer Young Jerz:

Yeah hes not lying. I remember him telling us about his court date. Wish he could have finished that verse for me before this though .

Damn I bet he's writing shit as we speak and when he gets out ready to release those bitches

SMH @ Nobodies rapping about money and bitches when they most likely get none of those.

Edit: Yes, I am mad, before you ask. When I come here I expect to hear young aspiring rappers talking about their lives, their desire to make it, real stuff.. not rapping about money and shit they never even lived.

Despite the sample of "Keep the Cash on Deck" being used on the beat, Poyo delivers another memorable track with great verbal imagery. The punches, the wordplay, everything lyrically in this track is phenomenal. You think it's just another hoes and cash rap type song, but every verse it littered with slights to life and the man's struggle to get out of the hood, get out of his situation, and get to a life of luxury and notoriety.

                Overall: 4.5/5
