I liked the poem at the end the best. Very good personification on that, equating the seasons to your feelings. The beat took me aback when it dropped, it's got this nice smooth vibe to it. That bass guitar on it set's the track for me. Even the this is an electronically produced beat I bet it'd sound great with a live band and a chick singing. I feel like this is track is about music. Good track to drop first off that CSE. It sets the tone, for what I expect to be a great album. Purpen got down on the mixing once again. Quality sounds so much better. The speed of the flow at the beginning of verse 2 is really good. I liked how you spit that part. Overall good track man.

i get what you were trying to do here, the whole real rap type shit. like that guy in your sig, blue, or jay cole.
but the final outcome here sounds forced.
that blue guy is incredible at this kinda rap though, as good as jay cole , but doesnt get as much props.
YELLOW DUCK MUTHAFUCKA!!!!!!!!!!!

Purpen>>>>>>
as for the song, its lyrically dope, not as much musically as they said it gets a lil boring midway through . i kinda think you shouldve let this release with the tape. i can see it fitting into an album/mixtape nicely. but not standing alone. but regardless you still the hottest nigga here you drop a song and we get like 20 guests lol.
i wish i could break down songs as good as mykill/noble/MAC/ etc. just not that good with wordstwitter.com/basedpoyo

100+ views in a night? wtf... Cli-City's a superstar
I see conceptually where you were going with this. It's different. People are saying that you are reaching to get a style or style of concept that you're not familiar with, but I think its a pretty good track. The instrumental is what makes this song though, its sooooooo soulful and elegant. I think your bars reflected that, but you definitely need to turn up the vocals a tad because to me it seemed like the verses were getting outshined by the instrumental. If this is indicative of what we are to expect from you and your Corner Store Experiment, I'm excited. Seldom can people on here pull off a tape with the feelings and emotions this track portrays, and I'd like to see someone succeed doing it.
The poem didnt mesh well with everything else though. Dunno why.

i liked this..i can tell its gonna sound really ill within the context of the entire album, and people wont really feel the impact of it until they hear it in that context..for that reason idk if it should have been the single but im you had your reasons for makin it the single..liked how you came in on the second verse, kinda sped the flow up a lil bit which was nice..i thought the poem fit in well and i liked how you tied it in to the concept of the song at the end (you might be askin what seasonal change has to do wit what im feelin)..Good song overall

Hmm hard to say something about this one... I like your flow through the whole song, just like the hook, which is pretty simple but nice. Just like some other member said, start of verse 2 is the best part for me, speed fits the beat really good. But, also like others said, it isn't really that special to me... Lyrics are ok, cool that you spitted true shit, but I don't know, it somehow hasn't the effect some of the tracks on In My Own Words had... I already know you can do better, but that shouldn't mean this was bad or somthin... just not as good as your other stuff
Go & Listen ..
