What do you guys base your ratings off of?

One thing I never understood was what do you guys mean when you give someone a rating.

Like with me, I put out a track and y'all rate it like 3/5 and say some shit like could be better but not bad. Needa better lyrics.
So I scrap that song and go on to the next one.
I always wanted to put together a mix tape but you peoples ratings on my songs always made me wanna make better songs before I put a mix tape together.

So I guess I'm asking like is 3/5 mean like the song sucks and you wouldn't listen again or what ?


And do you guys ever rate lil Wayne's or anyway pro rappers songs the same way?

I rate each persons songs on what I heard from them before. 3/5 is an average song for the person. Not like an average song in general, but for the person. Like SM could put out a song and I would give him a 3/5 but he always puts out shitty music so the song would just be average for him. But in reality, on a music scale based on everyone in Tha Studio for example, the song would get like a 1/10.


And if it's my first time listening to them, I just think of what a good rating for them is based off the skills I see in them.
