Damn I fuck with this except in the beginning I felt like the claps were misplaced.

yeah, I agree -- the claps are generally on the 2 and 4 downbeats and he has them riding on the upbeats or the "and beats" which is really awkward imo

Beat was cool but needs a fat ass bassline and the kicks need to smash much harder -- the lack of bassline prevents this from sounding complete though -- you need that bass to glue the track together and really send this thing home

Intro is a bit too long. It should've dropped somewhere between 14 to 16 seconds. That would make it better for the rapper. When it does, it doesn't drop hard enough. That's due to the bass, which is way too weak, as other have mentioned. That little sample in the background, was something good to make a beat around but it should more in your face. Someone like Meek Mill would murk this but not in its present state. When you make a beat, you also have to envision someone trying to spit to it. Feel me?
