Maybe try lowering the volume of the vocal input.It just looked very ameatur lol.

If its not your mic , its your mixing. What do you use to mix?

I honestly doubt its the mixing. It probably has something to do with your mic man. Mixing doesn't fix hissing noises and whatnot, it just makes the vocals sound better and more full. Don't listen to uneducated people lol. If you listen your setup, I can maybe see what you're working with and help you figure out what the probably is..

Regarding the cover, lol yeah. I think a cover is important. When putting your music on sites, the cover is usually the first thing the listener see's. If it looks amateur, most times I won't even listen to the music lol. Ya know?
