Pete Rock Sample Re-Flip (In honor of Pete Rock's Bday)

So it was Pete Rock's Bday two weeks ago (June 21st) and me and a couple friends decided to do some Pete Rock reflips

Keep in mind, for whatever reason, I never really got into Wu-Tang all that much, so I wasn't really familiar with the original -- at least, not enough to know the chops and everything. I didn't really listen to the original song until after I flipped it and, although I'm a bit disappointed in the chops being a little too similar, I actually really dig how it came out

Now this is that crack! That sample flip is NICE. After Touch Beatz... best producer in Tha Stu... Runtelldat.

Overall: 4.7/5, Flawless composition, great variety, good change ups, great use of samples, this beat is damn near perfect.
I'm gonna work on a concept for this when I get home... Who's down to spit?

thanks man! I want to go back in this and try to lay something over the hook using the fruity scratcher (if I can get it to sound at least semi-realistic and dope) and I think that'll be the finishing move to drive this thing home!
